On January 1, 2021 the eligibility requirements for ABMDI registry certification will be updated. The experience requirements will change from 640 hours of experience to a point based system, which will require a total of "640 points". The attached document explains the new process and the point system. This change will only be applied to application requests received after the first of the year (2021). The goal of this new point based system is to assist rural areas of the nation with the opportunity to obtain ABMDI certification.
